Saturday Socials...Notes to Self
I live in an amazing city, Birmingham, Alabama, born and raised growing up, I heard multiple times that there is nothing going on the city. "they say there's nothing to do, no one where to go, no where to hang out!" it's interesting know that no one really gets out as they should now do they want to go out! So I decided to document my Social Life for the next few months or so, or however long it takes for people to understand there is always somewhere to hang out and do stuff in Birmingham, Alabama you just have to be open for the experience! I mean besides Birmingham, is growing and has become the home to many transplants, in that information I realized MUSIC is the only universal entity within Birmingham however, the people that go to listen to the music usually lack diversity! This is where I become concern we as dwellers of Birmingham somewhere lost the best part about us...or understanding, compassion for all people. However, I'm here to bring that back...I'll make it a point to blog about where I may end up further in the week but for the most part, I've just decided to pop up somewhere every Saturday, planned and unplanned lets see what happens when reality meets social interaction!
Last Night was "House Music at Seeds Coffee" I loved this place, a Coffee/Tea House with adequate seating, a great Baristas, Friendly staff and not bad looking either...(FYI: I love beautiful people, period.) the DJ is a friend of mine that has been working on her craft for some years, steady building her audience. Well, with it being the 30th Anniversary of House Music what better way to Celebrate than to embark onto new territory but to bring the music to the people. I have laughed, danced, cried laughing and dance some more, drank coffee which gave me more energy to dance some more!
I am definetly looking to make my way back to Seeds Coffee Co., not just for the Coffee but for the expectant Local Artist they have on the rooster to appear. 2014 is a great year to decided to do something for yourself and someone else!

I've been walking this planet for a while and every time I think I may have it figured out; I realize I don't...have it all figured out. Which makes the beauty in all situations so great; we have the opportunity to reexamine who we are, unlearn all the things that will not assist us going forward and breathe!
