Blessings, It's been a while since I really wanted to share all of my feelings. However, I decided to share today. I don't know maybe because my Earthday is nine days away. That is a New Year for me. I started a nu transition every year on my birthday... While I'm listening to Lauryn Hill, I wanted to start off my commenting on the JENA 6... Jena 6, I was more outrage that it was only 6 black boys charged when reportedly 9 were involved 3 white and 6 black... what happen to the other charges? What happen to teenagers being charged as teenagers? How long will we stand aside and allow our black boys to be railroaded into this asylum that society is creating for them. Now, its sad that Micheal sat in jail almost a whole year before we even got the information? But how many other Micheal's are there out in America? The march was really great... and I like how we can come together when the white man cross us. But, what about walking down the street in Stone Mountain, GA where the teen and her little brother were shot cause they were going to testify against 4 black men that broke into there home? What about walking over in Gwinnett County were the 15 year old boy was shot in the face by 2 black boys because he disagree with there home training? What about walking around your neighborhood, Take that stand to your area and show some solidarity that we will not take us killing us anymore. Yes, I feel Jena, La got the message but, did America? Did the Law makers? Did the District Attorney's in every city across the country? America will start taking Black Americans serious when we start fighting our own. Every time a black person kills another black person we should be marching. In the spirit of our mother's and father's we should be marching thru the streets of every major city in America. Letting our black brother's and sister's know we will not tolerate the killing of anyone, black or white. But I know that's not going to happen. However, what will happen is someone will read this and get offended because, they don't see the big picture. Someone will read this and say that I don't believe in progress, and if we can get any amount of blacks to stand up in unity without violence that's a good thing. Well, I'd rather stand on love than anything else. I'd rather stand for my love of humanity and the fact that I live in a world where I can go and learn about people that are totally different from me. Blacks are not the only humans in the world oppressed! When are we going to stop overcoming? We have been overcoming for the past 50 years, should it be that long. This is reminiscent of Moses and the Exodus... How long will we take ourselves around the mountain that has already been moved. We are fighting ourselves on this. Nothing will change with Blacks and whites in America until the hearts of ADAM change. Love is the answer people. Love will move you out of your own way. Love will bring color to a gray situation. Love will smash the heart of any ice cold rock. Love will. Love.
My passion is whats motivates me...So if I have love in my heart then that is more than enough. I challenge you to start walking in love, just start speaking to everyone you see, hug someone that you don't really know(well I really wouldn't try that in the state of Georgia),go out of your way to share with someone you know dislikes you? Can you do that? Is it possible? I will tell you it's not easy but after you have done it the first day, you are going to do it again, and again... Its love pure love, not this fake stuff. You know what I'm talking about that shaking your hand or giving folks a hug, so they want talk about you, that's fake. They gone do that anyway. But if you walk in love daily, I mean daily what are the odds of you passing some of that positive energy to someone that really needs it? It's Love, Pure Love.
