What a time...It's a Nu day. Barack Obama is President Elect! Yes, 2008! We have a Black President. This brings me to the Topic of the Day. Recently I cut a lot of people out of my Life because of them being negative. Really! I mean I can not think of any reason other than that. Get yourself together and I might think about allowing you back into my cipher(some part of it). However, one individual stated that Barack Obama is not black he is mixed; which brings me to My right now, So am I. So if he is not black then neither am I and the 78% of African Americans that say that they are black because of ancestral descendants. Perhaps this could be solved simply by expressing that not every black person has blue black skin(thank God) and not every black person has knotty hair( thank God).this could also be stated about every mixed individual in the world, not every mixed person is high yellow (Thank God) and not every mixed person has a good grade of Hair (Thank God). Do you see where I am going? Ignorance is man made. God does not care about the color of our skin only the purity of our hearts. It's sad to say that most often African Americans are the perpetrators of ignorance behooving to me is that we often fail to take accountability for the situations that we control leaving others with the duty of cleaning up our mess. Hence, this individuals statement that Barack Obama is not Black, he's Mixed.
Barack Obama has being living with himself for the past 47 years, with his white mother and grandparents, constantly being asked why is your skin so brown, are you adopted, is your father black. Oh my bad those are the dumb questions that I have been asked. My bad! lol. Now I was asked these questions because, my hair doesn't look like the chic standing next to me, because my body wasn't shaped like the freak down the street. Because when i open my mouth the King's English come out and not some dumb version of slang that was created a man that had a speech impediment, to embarrassed to ask for help with the words he could pronounce. But I am sure that Barack didn't have to put of with that version because He was taught that everyone is the same and has the same opportunities if, you do certain things. See we disqualify ourselves more often than not. How dare you say that man is not black! Growing up under those situations you wake to see that your skin is a little thicker than most, and that God has given you a view of life through his untainted eyes, Cheap tricks don't provoke you. Assuming that there was a legitimate point to this man's statement, Some things should never come out of your mouth. Really, this man has something no Black Man in my life time has had. The Wisdom to know when to move and the courage to trust what he was shown. In the words of Dr Lowery " if I'm dumb that's my fault, the word say my people perish for lack of knowledge, If I'm loud and being called names that's my fault, I should know when to be quiet and when to speak; but, if I'm black, white, purple, green, or blue and you have a problem with me, then take it up with GOD because he made all of us the way he wanted"
