Okay, The blinders are off. I relized just 2 minutes ago that the most influential people will compromise their integrity to make sure people like them. I dont care if you like me but i speak the truth, I keep it transparent at all times and If you have a problem with it them you have a problem with me and the God that Dwells inside me. So, This past weekend in my Hometown was the Magic City Classic, traditionally people take their bill money and spend it on outfits that they cant afford just to keep up appearances. Now, I have participated in the foolishness years ago, spending half a paycheck to purchase things that I would end up wearing until later in the year. Because I like to have options. However, a very prominent person in the city posted a status saying "wants to know how much "Classic gear" has been returned to stores in the past 7 hours...hmmm?" Now because of my kingdom alignment(Spiritual not traditional) I know that is morally un-ethical and so does the person asking the question, but we'll do anything for popularity and for people to like us so that we can keep out status. So I replied "that's stealing...Right" Then they preceed to post "OK...I personally think "stealing" is a bit strong....wow....Stealing is defined: To take (the property of another) without right or permission....they gained permission once it was purchased. It may be trifling...but theft...nah." Interestingly, I am not surprised at this person reaction because we are so traditionally trained to think in gray and not black or white that we find ourselves supporting the very things we should take a stand and be against. The American heritage Dictionary defines Stealing as 4.to move, bring, convey, or put secretly or quietly; smuggle (usually fol. by away, from, in, into, etc.): They stole the bicycle into the bedroom to surprise the child. 1.to take (the property of another or others) without permission or right, esp. secretly or by force. Legal Dictionary defines stealing as to take or appropriate without right or consent and with intent to keep or make use of improperly.
You have all the definitions right? Lets lift up the legal definition "with intent to keep or make us of improperly" I know I am about to get technical but isn't the God you serve technical into details, when you know better you do better but whats the point of you doing better and everyone around you are ignorant to the fact? So intent..."Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." (NIV Translation)I use this because I dont have to go to notebooks but the intent in this text is that same as my personal example...GOD LOVES a Cheer giver because you knows and desires your heart, He honors our best because he knows it comes from the heart. So if GOD desires our hearts to be lifted towards him at all times, dont you think purchasing an outfit with the intent on returning it would be stealing in God's eyes? I mean, your heart knew you would be going into the store buying and outfit that you were not planning to keep, so you wear that outfit out to parties, clubs, etc...wake up the next day to return to the same store you purchased it from. YEAH RIGHT! And you think thats not stealing? I am sorry to bring this to your attention but it is, because your intent was not right in the first place. Yes, God will forgiven you because he is merciful and just, However, a lie is a lie and a theif is a thief. There are things in my past that God has brought to my recall that he has brought me through only for him to get the glory. I choose to share what I know so that he enemy wont get you caught up in his tangled web of trickery. Purchasing and outfit with the intent to wear it and then return it to the store after you have worn it, makes you a theif, THATS STEALING! Dont let the enemy use you for his good. I would also like to suggest that if you wouldnt do something yourself, dont delight in the fact that others dont know any better correct our sisters help them, leading them in a path of righteousness for his name sake not yours. God wants us to help each other not take what we've learn through the years and keep it. Stop being selfish people.
So, lets recap...Do not buy outfits with the intent of wear and returning thats stealing! Remember: If you dont like what you see change your environment!
I love you like God Loves me Unconditionally!!!
